Shandur Polo Festival Itinerary

Day 1: Islamabad – Besham – Chilas

• Early Departure: From Islamabad to Chilas via Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Thakot.
• Night Stay: Hotel in Chilas.

Day 2: Chilas – Karimabad (Hunza Valley)

• Morning: Departure for Hunza Valley.
  • Photo Stops:
    • Junction Point of 3 mountain ranges.
    • Rakaposhi viewpoint.
• Afternoon: Arrival in Karimabad, transfer to hotel.
• Evening: Free time to visit Baltit Fort.
• Night Stay: Hotel in Karimabad.

Day 3: Karimabad – Gilgit – Phander

  • Activity: Enjoy Polo matches at one of the highest Polo grounds in the world.
• Afternoon: Drive to Mastuj in Chitral Valley.
• Night Stay: Hotel in Mastuj.

Day 5: Mastuj – Chitral – Bamburet

• Morning: Drive to Chitral.
  • Stopover: Brief stop in Chitral.
  • Continue Drive: To Bamburet, the main village of Kalash Valley.
• Night Stay: PTDC Motel / Local Inn in Bamburet.

Day 6: Bamburet – Day Free

• Day: Free to explore and enjoy the exotic culture of the Kalasha tribe and the picturesque valley.
• Night Stay: Hotel in Chitral.

Day 7: Bamburet – Dir – Islamabad

• Early Departure: For Islamabad.
  • Route: Through Lowari and Malakand Pass.
• Evening: Arrival in Islamabad and drop off at a designated location.
